Home Office Reno Part 1

This spare bedroom has been painted a lovely lavender shade for about three years, the same amount of time that no one has occupied said room due to the intrusion of a hand-me-down full size bed. Originally intended to be the art studio, it was time for this room to to come back to life and be a creative haven. 

First and foremost- empty the ENTIRE room, closets included. Thankfully the wood floor in this room is in fantastic condition since it's so rarely been walked on, so that's a plus. 

When I have a vision, I become obsessed and want to do it NOW! Including purchasing things like rugs and furniture. You can see my office inspo here - and honestly I'm getting pretty damn close to making that vision a reality. 

Another unforeseen side effect of Covid 19- a major desk shortage in stores! I have literally been to every Home Goods in Monmouth County NJ, and not one to be found. But I finally found these beauties on Overstock!
